Farmhouse Frocks New Studio

 

We opened our Farmhouse Frocks brick and mortar studio in downtown Millersburg Ohio on July 2, 2015.

 

Our goal here at Farmhouse Frocks is to make women of all sizes feel beautiful.

 

 

 

 You will see many different displays at our store. I thought this anthro looking gas mask that I snagged at the worlds longest garage sales would be a thought provoking conversation piece.

 Our motto for this business has been "more faith than fear" and its proven its self over and over again.

 

I've been like a little girl playing house with all the beautiful white space we have.

 

We also sell my Lena's Amish Granola granola and granola bars.

We have eleven Amish seamstress sewing our prairie style clothing.
The bike that you see hanging from the ceiling has been another one of our conversation pieces.

 

 

We also have up-cycled denim jackets, vintage shirts, and boyfriend jeans.

The sizes that we carry fit comfortably from sizes 5 to 28.

 

 

My Dad and I made this dressing room with industrial pipes.

A great friend of mine, Besserina, makes the curtains which we sell here as well.

 

You will find lots of all white ironstone in the displays around our store.

 

 

People describe our store by telling us that they feel like they are in Paris or a big city like New York.

 

 

Lately, this deep blue color has really caught my eye.

 

 

These huge industrial factory windows are hung in the front windows as a unique back drop.

 

 

 

We sell lots of our graphic tees that have our logo and fun slogans saying "Farm Fresh Frocks" and "Rock the Frock".

 

 

I love the cowhide rug that we got from Mike from the American Pickers.

 

 

 

 

Sassyfrass is our jewelry artist who has beautiful and unique jewelery.

 

 

The Lizzie Tunics are a hot seller here at Farmhouse Frocks.

 

 

Barb Chalmers from Restoration Details is the designer that paints all our beautiful furniture. Most of her furniture is done with the Annie Sloan paint.

 

                               We restock our clothing here at Farmhouse Frocks every week.

 

 

When you stop in to check us out, you will either see my daughters Syd or Fee and I

 

I took a old buffet and up-cycled it into our checkout counter.

 

 

 

I displayed the white ironstone pieces on this old bakery rack because the location where our store is used to be  Norman's Bakery.

 

 

Our studio hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

We also carry Besserina's beautiful cottage style linen pillows.

We are hoping that you get to stop by and see our new studio soon.

Or maybe you'll be able to make it to the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio or Atlanta, GA.

We are planning on bringing our flair to these shows.

Farmhouse Frocks: Ready for the Nashville Country Living Fair!

Look out, Country Living Fair! Here we come! 

It feels like we are ready to give birth to something precious.

When you put months of work into something, and when the time finally comes to reap the benefits of your hard work, it is so rewarding!

We did a photo shoot with the amazing Lyssa Ann Portraits to better market to our Nashville audience.

We are so pumped to bring with us quality-sewn clothing ranging in sizes from 3 to 28. We have a very generous, very beautiful selection of plus-sized clothing!

We will also feature hand-made spoon rings and lace leather cuffs, crafted by my talented hubby and our son.

I've been collecting some amazing pieces of all-white ironstone and sparkly silver.

I also found some great treasures while picking in the south.

I was so delighted when Betty Lynn from Country Living Magazine called to request that I give a canning demonstration on the kitchen stage on Friday, April 24th at 2pm.

Of course, I said yes! I decided to do a strawberry jam, which is the next fresh thing to be in season. I hashtagged all of the canning pictures on my Instagram under Lena's Amish Granola, so if you search #lenascanning, the photos will come up of my years of preserving.

We have been shuffling all of our Amish-sewn clothing into the studio,

which means our studio has become smaller and smaller by the week! We are so blessed to have eight Amish seamstresses diligently sewing our fabulous clothing line. 

Yesterday, I welcomed a couple of my friends into the studio to help make sure everything is tagged and packed up.

We had an amazing lunch and lots of laughs. 

Last evening, I packed the succulents onto this cart which will be a great tool for wheeling supplies back and forth to our booth.

Here we are getting Mandy, a member of my sales team, all frocked up.

I've had fun working on the booth displays. I think that's the most fun for me.

There will be lots of love and lace at our Farmhouse Frocks booth!

I repurposed this chandelier. It might need just a tad more fru-fru and sparkle.

We mod-podged these doors with an Amish newspaper called The Budget. It's like the Amish Facebook in paper form.:)

I'm so thankful for all the assistance and guidance I've had as we count down the hours until it's time to play.
