Farmhouse Frocks has been a whirlwind of exciting new beginnings in preparation for our new fall line. The studio has been hopping with new people and smiles.
I am humbly blessed with how fast Farmhouse Frocks has grown with the addition of 28+ Amish seamstresses. Since the last Columbus Country Living Fair at the end of September, we've been hustling to get our seamstresses in preparation for this weeks Country Living Fair in Atlanta, Georgia.
Many great things have come our way. One of the many blessings was the meeting of my Sweden friend for the first time since we've met on Instagram three years ago. Christina visited Amish Country a couple weeks ago. We instant connected and she helped redesign our front showcase in a European style.
Cristina gifted our business with a couple vintage tablecloths from Europe to make our Rosemary Vest's out of. I am so passionate about meeting new people all over the world and getting to know them on a deeper level.
Christina used very earthy tones to result a woodsy, whimsical style. As we are going into the holidays, I would love to have her with us to help with displays at the studio but I know she's here in spirit.
I feel very privileged to have our studio in the beautiful historic downtown Millersburg. A few weeks ago, we were able to join the Antique Festival Parade. My friend, Denise let us borrow Gabriella the goat. She was a fantastic asset to our truck display even though I will overlook her potty mishap on my boots during the parade.
Betty, one of my many sweet Amish seamstresses that sews the Annie Fleece, had a death in the family recently. Two sisters came together to help fulfill the order for us to bring them to Atlanta. I admire the hard work and dedication that the Amish women carry.
In preparation for the Atlanta show this weekend, we've spent countless hours preparing only the best. We are so looking forward to meeting all the southern women. A big hit at the Columbus Country Living Fair were the Annie Fleece, which is great for the chillier fall evenings.
In time for the show, we decided to add in the new Millie Tunics. I have three Amish seamstresses fulfilling the very popular Millie's that will be available to you online shoppers in the near future. There is also a small abundance that will be available at the fair this weekend at Stone Mountain.
Lyssa Ann Portraits, my business partner has been in the process of working on a new website and better online shopping experience for you all. Her great talent has been a huge blessing to have in the same studio. A week ago, we shot new inventory shots to add into the new website that's coming soon.
Let me tell you about our new fresh frock that is a hot seller. This is the Betsy Tunic made out of washed linen to sooth any touch. With two handy pockets, we have never produced another frock that has this much popularity.
We brought an abundance of the Betsy Tunics that run from sizes small to 3X! The Betsy's come in gray and white linen. As a specialty for the Atlanta Country Living Fair, we also have this pattern in a french farmhouse vegetable fabric.
A perfect accessory to the new Millie Tunic's are the ever famous vintage-linen Rosemary Vests.
Another great addition to the studio is our new handmade raw leather bags. All the bags are made local and handcrafted. I would love to keep all the new bags for myself.
I'm not going to lie, this process has made me fall back on my moto, "More Faith Than Fear" many times. Bringing handcrafted Amish pieces has meant many hard working hours but I've enjoyed the ride. 
I can't thank enough of all the amazing and inspirational people that have prayed, loved and supported my endeavors. You've pushed and encouraged when I needed it most and that I am forever thankful.
I love all the Amish women seamstresses. My passion is giving these women something to be proud of and to be able help support their families. I can't wait to share all my God stories in words with you this winter when snowflakes are flying.
