Rebecca's Bistro

This little cozy Bistro is nestled in the little village of Walnut Creek. It's in the heart of Amish Country.
It has the feel of dining in your friends house. The walls are a warm color and
it is decorated primitive.
The staff always greets you with a big smile and you are made welcome like they were expecting you. This is my cousin Miriam. Can you tell we are related? She has worked there for years.

In the summer they have outdoor seating.
They also host Gourmet Nights. It is the 2nd Friday of each month. You have to make your reservations ahead of time. They also do private parties like rehearsal, bridal & baby showers, banquets etc. by reservations in the evenings.
Have yet to have had something bad here. Today had their bistro burger and it was off the charts. AMAZING! Also had their salad with Rebecca's salad dressing.
Which you can buy to take home. Her tomato basil soup is famous too.
Even her outside has a cozy feel to it.
As you come near the front door a you start smelling a aroma of coffee and some good food.
Loved the contrasting color of this orange wreath on this bright teal that was right beside our table.
If its your lucky day you will get to see Rebecca herself as she floats around helping make things flow smoothly. Or she is sitting with one of her fans at a table. She has so much knowledge on life and has a gift with hospitality that will make you feel like your dining in her home not your business.
Even the ladies room is decorated. Not very often that you feel at home in a bathroom.
This back room is beautiful too. The ceiling is the original ceiling from the old house that the Bistro is in.
And so are the walls.
She also sells her own soy candles.
You know you have found a treasure of a place when there seems to always be a waiting line.
Their desserts make you feel like your in heaven.
So next time its your Birthday or you just want to make yourself feel special. Stop by Rebecca's Bistro. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.
