My Friend Missy's Cozy House In The Country

Missy has a cozy house that's decorated primitive. Yesterday she had us over for a spa day with our kids.

It was a great day for that since the kids could go outside and play in the snow. Even her back porch looked cozy. She had lights strung in the garlend of pines.

Liked the skinny tree in corner that was in the crock.

Looks like this one in her living room is straight off a Pinterest board.

She had a very comfy looking bed.

Also liked this stencil on her bedroom wall.
This vanity is in entryway.
She just got these on her outside from evergreen shrubs.

Her cute little tree.

This is in her entryway.

She got the house on this shelf for Christmas. She has a lot of crocks in her decor.

Felicia making a funny face as shes holding Willow.

She enjoys browsing local flea markets. We are blessed with some great ones here in Holmes County.
She just took two of her cabinet doors off. Also like the old ladder she laid across the top of her sink in the corner. This is also where I got the idea on the tin backsplash. It is very easy to put on. I did mine all by myself.

An old ladder in corner has blankets hung on it.

Liked this center piece on her table.

Also this box is set up cute. In the picture is Missy(our I ment Melissa,as she prefer i call her. But she will always be a Missy to me) with her cute daughter Willow. She is a good Mommy with 3 busy healthy adorable children. Ages 8,5,almost 1. It amazes me how she can keep her house so cozy with all the time she spends crafting and entertaining them.

Liked this cheesecloth burlap window treatment in her kitchen window. She also has those cute wreaths hanging on all her outside windows. Wish I would have taken more pictures of her outside. But was to cozy inside to go out in cold. She started a fire in her stove as soon as we got there. The kids dryed their boots and gloves when they'd come in from sledding. As she'd fix them hot chocolate and chia.

Like her door in corner of her kithen with a real pine wreath with a burlap bow on it.

As we were driving I shot this picture(this wasn't her house;)) and it set the tone for the whole day.
Has inspired with her cozy house to make mine alittle more cozy for the winter and thinking I need to get off here and start rearranging some furniture and moving some crocks.
Thank you Missy for sharing your home with our family yesterday. Also for letting me share your home with others.
Hope you light your fires and drink cozy drinks with a warm fuzzy blanket. Enjoy this snowy day in the Country.
