Having A Baby Shower With Fun Friendship and Food

Today I helped my friend with her daughters baby shower. So decided to share a couple of pictures of the yummy food that she served. Here she took strawberries and cut off bottom of them and hulled them out then dipped them in chocolate and filled them with cream cheese filling and put chocolate shavings on top.
She owns the best cupcake shop so yes, she had an outstanding display of cupcakes and
she made this cute, cute cake. It was all edible monkey and all. If you ever visit Wooster you will have to try her cupcakes at The Faithful Little Cupcake.
The brownies were a hit too.
You licking you computer screen yet?
This cookie dough dip was amazing served with animal crackers!
Chicken salad sandwiches. She also had buffalo dip and wraps.
I made this Texas Caviar
1 can chickpeas
1 can black eyed peas
1 small can crushed pineapple
drain all above
chop:
1 onion
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 green pepper
1 handful cilantro
Simmer:
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
Pour hot sauce over all the above and refrigerate over night the drain and serve with dipping chips.
She had an amazing spread of food.
Here is the Mother,Daughter and the soon to be arriving baby.
There was a great turn out.
As the guest mingled and ate the amazing food.
She send the guest home with these pretzels as a thank you gift. Very thoughtful idea.
THE FUN YOU CAN HAVE WITH FOOD NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME.
LOVE CELEBRATIONS AND REASONS TO SERVE FOOD.
